Syndromes And Auto Immune Disorders
ALS, MS, CFS, FS, ME, GWS, IBS, Lupus, RA, Endocarditis, Myocarditis
The root cause of these disorders and syndromes is a mystery to most of medical science. Some of these diseases are often referred to as auto immune disorders, this is because the immune system is attacking the body’s own cells. What some scientist and doctors have found, is that there are sometimes underlying infections that are very difficult to diagnose with older testing methods. These germs often reside inside normal cells, which is why the immune system is attacking them, causing your symptoms. Often steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs are used to suppress the immune system. This immune suppression alleviates some of the symptoms, but doesn’t cure the disease.
The syndromes often have inconsistent and unusual symptoms. Because normal infective causes are not present and the unusual ones are not easily tested for, an infective cause is often discarded by the doctors.
There are now new testing methods and long term antibiotic protocols that are having some success in curing these diseases. We are not saying that all of these diseases have an infective cause, just that some infections can cause some of these symptoms and when the underlying infection is cured the symptoms disappear.
These organisms can now be cultured and tested for. Additionally, long term antibiotic treatment, with supportive care, often results in cures of these disorders and syndromes. Some of the organisms involved are Lyme, Bartonella, Ehrlichia, Babesia, Chlamydia and Mycoplasmas such as M. pneumonia, M. penetrans, M. fermentans or M. pirum, to name several. Additionally there are viruses that also can be involved, like CMV and others. Often several organisms are involved at once, making diagnosis and treatment even more difficult.
The bottom line here is that if you have been diagnosed with one of these disorders or syndromes, or, have unusual symptoms that your doctor cannot diagnose or cure, then consider that you may have an obscure underlying infection. If you will contact us, we can give you information for your doctor, on how to have you tested and some recommended protocols to follow. We also can set up a nutritional support protocol to help you heal.
